On buying on impulse

The urge to buy is not aimed at the thing. It is aimed at the waiting while it ships, the moment the box opens. That moment is cheap and short.

Put it in the cart and leave it three days. If after three days it still rises in your mind by name, buy it. If the name does not come, delete it.
