The wish to brag is joy not wanting to be alone. It is no sin. But joy must be poured to fit the listener’s cup, or it spills.
Brag to one person, once. Choose the one who will be glad of your joy as if it were their own. Tell them everything; tell the others only when asked. Then it is not bragging. It is news.
