On losing money in stocks

Lost money does not come back. What comes back is judgment. The next decision made to win the money back usually loses more.

Close the account screen and write on paper why you bought it, and whether that reason still stands. If the reason is gone, sell. If it stands, hold, but do not buy more. If the sum is large, show it to a professional.
