On being compared with a sibling

Siblings are born in the same house and so are set on the same scale. But two people from one house are not one person. They are two answers from one house.

When a parent compares, do not argue. Say one sentence: “They are they, and I am I.” Then, this week, ask that sibling to teach you one thing you cannot do. A rival disappears once they become a teacher.
