On parking

Do not hang the mood of a day on one parking space. A space belongs to someone else, then to you, then to someone else. Guard not the space but your own mind from growing narrow.

Choose a second spot in advance near home and near work. A little farther, always empty. Count the five minutes of walking from it as the day’s walk.
