Question:“On having no certainty”

On having no certainty

Certainty is not the condition for starting. It is the result of it. Few set out certain, and most who set out become certain.

Choose the smallest experiment you can run without certainty, one that returns a result within the week. Certainty comes from results.

Xenophanes wrote that no one has seen what is certain, and that only seeming is granted to all. He moved on seeming himself, and wandered the Greek lands for more than sixty years.
