A jinx is two coincidences threaded together. You threaded them, and so you can unthread them.
This week, do the jinxed thing once on purpose. Step out with the left foot; sit in that seat. Once the body sees that nothing happens, the thread breaks. Even this oracle sends down vapor, not dread.
