Rugged ground

Ithaca was a small, rocky island. Odysseus called it “rugged, but a good mother”. The place you return to matters not because it is beautiful but because it is yours.

Speak well today of one small thing that is yours. The narrow room, the old car, the worn neighborhood. Stop the complaint, and it becomes Ithaca.
