On the driver’s license

A license is not a paper that gives you the road. It is a paper that entrusts the road to you. Driving does not begin the day the card arrives. Learning does.

Do one thing this week. Sign up for lessons, or book a refresher. If the license has sat in a drawer for years, drive one road you know three times, in daylight, when the streets are empty.
