Divorce is not the name of a failed marriage. It is the name of a marriage that ended. Ended is not the same as failed, and the days lived inside it do not vanish.
Say nothing about that person today. Make one new thing in your own name instead: an account, a key, a potted plant. Count what has begun, not what was divided. If there is much to divide, divide it with someone who knows the law.
