On disappointment

Disappointment is a ruler that measures the size of your expectation, not the size of the other. A large expectation means you know what you hold dear.

Find one thing in that disappointment that still remains, and write it down. If there is nothing, move the expectation elsewhere. If there is even one thing, shrink the expectation to that size.
