Question:“Do not lend”
Do not lend
Do not lend. If you expect it back, it is a loan. If you can live without it, it is a gift. If it is neither, do not do it.
Give only what you can give. Then forget what you gave. If the sum is one you cannot forget, it is not a sum you can give.
Hesiod said to repay a neighbor in the same measure you borrowed, and more generously if you can.
